Food & Beverage Team Member

Various posts and hours available – on a rota system Monday to Sunday

To provide a warm, welcoming and efficient food and beverage service to our guests and customers, ensuring exceptional service standards are delivered and maintained at all times in line with our guest expectations. 

Duties:

  • Assist in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our customers and guests
  • Ensure that you adhere at all times to our “Dress and Appearance” Policy thus giving the best impression to our customers and guests
  • Ensure that all guests’ requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively and an exceptional service is delivered to guests at all times
  • Familiarise yourself with the menu and as much information about the food and beverage offering available in order to answer any questions guests may have
  • Take food and beverage orders and ensure that orders are communicated to the kitchen promptly and accurately
  • Ensure an efficient and safe delivery of all food and beverage orders in line with guest expectations ensuring an exceptional level of service is maintained at all times
  • To keep up to date with new stock/products that we make available to our guests/customers
  • To ensure that up-selling opportunities are explored and to follow the up-sell strategy
  • Set up, clear and promptly service tables after use to ensure that guests can be seated in a timely manner
  • Deal with guest complaints in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times and ensure that any guest complaints and comments are reported to the Food and Beverage Supervisor.
  • Assist in the set up and preparation, and provide service duties for functions and weddings as required
  • To perform to the agreed department Standard Operating Procedures
  • To work in a clean and tidy environment at all times, adopting a clean as you go attitude
  • To ensure your uniform and appearance is smart and presentable at all times
  • Report any maintenance issues for action
  • Be familiar with and promote Main Centre/Hotel facilities and offers that we run from time to time
  • Communicate, work with and build good working relationships with other departments to ensure a consistent level of service is offered throughout the business 24 hours a day
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as and when necessary
  • Carry out any other reasonable requests made by the Food and Beverage Supervisor or other Managers

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 1 years previous experience in similar environment 
  • Basic Food Hygiene
  • Hospitality qualifications are desirable
  • High standard of personal presentation
  • Accurate and efficient cash handling skill

Trainee Chef

Post initially for 24 hours per week, however, flexibility required - on a rota system Monday to Sunday

Duties:

To provide support to Chefs:

  1. To work under direction to ensure all food preparation procedures are adhered to
  2. To ensure that all company Health, safety and Hygiene procedures are strictly adhered to
  3. To work in an efficient and timely manner to assist the team in meeting company standards for bar, restaurant and function food
  4. To ensure all equipment is cleaned and put away after use
  5. To ensure high standards of personal hygiene and wear uniform as directed by the Head Chef
  6. To carry out all duties as directed 
  7. To work in other areas of the business as may be required from time to time.

None required but a passion for cooking is required and being keen to learn and excel

Golf Range Attendant

Post for 14-16 hours per week Saturdays and Sundays

Duties:

To provide excellent customer service and actively sell within the Golf Range area.
To help customers with the newly installed Toptracer system and ensure the ball machine sales run smoothly. To help administer food and drink sales in the area. 

  1. Support the Golf Sales Adminstrator and retail staff as may be required in the Golf Shop ensuring knowledge of prices and promotion
  2. To ensure regular communication with the Golf Sales Administrator and attend any meetings as required
  3. Able to work effectively alone as well as part of the team
  4. To carry out any other tasks as may be reasonably expected from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 years experience in customer service 
  • An interest in golf
  • Great IT skills
